Invisible Man is a novel by Ralph Ellison published Random House in 1952. was an American writer best known for his man which won the ‘National Book Award’ 1953. This milestone literature deeply discusses social problem of racism America. Bildungs roman where narrator (main character) begins as bright high school student, intelligent, and matures into who understands nature world later part life. It also considered to be Universal it based on quest know oneself. paper focuses how impacts narrator’s identity struggle find himself society among whites. Racism does not affect particular but whole general at both physical psychological levels. Existentialism implied this struggles identity. evolved America only after immigration Blacks slave era colonial era. Black people were brought USA slavery. Slave trade had happened they suffered lot from hunger, disease, etc. In 1865, civil war, slavery abolished USA, its legacy going still.
